Climbing Mont Veyrier in the late afternoon is much more than a simple hike. It’s a golden pause in time, a moment suspended between sky and lake.

The trail winds gently through the forest, in a cool and peaceful atmosphere. Little by little, the light softens, birds quieten, and you can feel that something special is about to happen.

Upon reaching the summit or one of the viewpoints (Mont Baron or the Veyrier ridge), the show begins: Lake Annecy lights up with shades of pink, orange and gold, framed by the mountains, while the town below slowly starts to glow.
