Easter holidays : Génépi Craft Workshop & Leisurely Walk Through the Historic Village
During the Easter holidays, immerse yourself in the fragrant and authentic world of génépi, the iconic mountain liqueur!
In this friendly workshop, I’ll reveal the history, secrets, and traditions surrounding this emblematic Alpine plant. Throughout the session, you will discover:
• The origins of génépi and its connection to mountain culture • The simple steps to create your own preparation • Delicious anecdotes about traditional know-how
Each participant will make their own personalized 25 cl bottle of génépi, which they can let macerate at home to obtain a liqueur with smooth, rounded, and distinctly Alpine aromas.
A warm, authentic, and fragrant experience—perfect for the curious, lovers of local heritage, and anyone wishing to bring home a souvenir… one to be shared!
Then, enjoy a stroll through the old village of Taninges, a place rich in history.

A Winter Escape in Sommand
At the end of the day, as the sky’s lights merge with the winter hues, we invite you to a gentle and contemplative immersion in the heart of the Sommand Mountains.
Equipped with snowshoes, we will set out on an accessible walk, guided by the observation of tracks and signs left by the local wildlife.
At the end of the walk, a small igloo village will welcome us. Inside these ephemeral shelters, shaped from snow, a timeless interlude awaits: a storytelling session, inspiring imagination and daydreams, will enrich the experience.
Finally, by a crackling fire, a convivial moment will be offered: homemade jam-topped toasts, roasted marshmallows, and a warm atmosphere to conclude this winter evening in a simple, comforting spirit.
What will charm you: An inspiring and calming experience that blends nature, discovery, and a winter atmosphere. Accessible to all—families, groups of friends, curious explorers, and lovers of authentic moments—it offers a true enchanted pause in the mountains.
Program: Meeting point: Hôtel Les Roches 1500 / Route de la Ramaz / Plateau de Sommand – Mieussy, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Fridays throughout winter.

January 1st: Snowshoeing & Outdoor Fondue – Gourmet Night Experience
Experience a magical mountain evening, combining nature, gourmet delights and local know-how. As night falls, set off on a guided snowshoe walk across the Sommand Plateau, accompanied by passionate professionals from the French Ski School (ESF). Back from the walk, enjoy a convivial moment with an apéritif followed by an open-air Savoyard fondue, in a warm and authentic mountain atmosphere. A timeless experience in the heart of snowy landscapes.

Micro-Adventure: Hiking & Packrafting
Do you know Packrafting?
It’s simply a small, ultra-light inflatable boat that you can carry in your backpack during a hike and then use to navigate waterways.
For this half-day micro-adventure, we invite you to explore hiking and packrafting through preserved forests and gliding waters.
From Menthon-Saint-Bernard, we’ll hike leisurely to the Roc de Chère Nature Reserve, a wild little corner of forest, viewpoints, and limestone cliffs. The ascent winds through shaded trails with a beautiful variety of landscapes. Once at the top, several exceptional viewpoints over Lake Annecy offer the perfect spot for a photo break.
Then we head to our secret beach to launch our packrafts.
The return to Menthon-Saint-Bernard is done gliding across turquoise waters, weaving between reed beds and cliffs, with breathtaking views of Duingt Castle.
A magical moment is guaranteed, especially at sunset! Price per person: €60
