The Pays de Savoie, located in the French Alps, is a region rich in history, culture and stunning natural landscapes. Composed of the departments of Savoie and Haute-Savoie, this region is particularly famous for its world-famous ski resorts, majestic lakes such as Lake Geneva and Lake Annecy, as well as its unspoilt natural areas.
Thanks to a diversity of landscapes ranging from the snow-capped peaks of Mont Blanc to green valleys and picturesque villages, the region is also known for its tasty gastronomy, with local specialties often cheesy.
